The air conditioning unit’s housing is made of high-quality glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (ABC-cover), making it resistant to corrosion, impact loads and aggressive environmental influences. • Preparation of mounting holes: In accordance with KONVEKTA’s technical instructions, the necessary holes are professionally cut into the cab roof to ensure secure mounting of the unit and the routing of internal wiring
• Installation of the compressor and piping: A compressor is mounted on the truck’s engine compartment, after which wear-resistant refrigerant pipes (hoses) are laid to connect the engine compartment to the roof of the vehicle.
• Installation of the roof-mounted unit: The main air conditioning unit is installed on the outside of the cab roof and connected to the prepared hoses, forming a sealed refrigerant circuit.
• Installation of the air distribution panel: An interior panel with air vents and integrated controls is fitted inside the cab. This provides convenient access to temperature settings and ensures even distribution of airflow throughout the cabin.
• Charging and testing: The final stage involves evacuating the system, checking its integrity and charging it with the required amount of refrigerant, followed by commissioning.
